What to Expect at Tryouts
Check-In
Arrive 15 minutes early. Bring your registration confirmation, photo ID, and tryout fee ($50 if not paid online).
Warm-Up
Team warm-up led by our coaching staff. Dynamic stretching and conditioning to prevent injuries.
Skills Assessment
Individual drills testing ball handling, shooting, footwork, defense, and basketball IQ.
Scrimmages
5-on-5 gameplay to evaluate performance in game situations, teamwork, and decision-making.
Q&A Session
Meet with coaches and ask questions about the program, schedule, expectations, and commitments.
Results
All participants will be notified within 3-5 business days via email or phone.

What is the tryout fee?
The tryout fee is $50 per player. This fee is non-refundable and covers facility rental, coaching staff, and administrative costs.
What if I make the team?
If selected, you'll receive a team packet with season fees, practice schedule, tournament calendar, and uniform information. Season fees typically range from $800-$1,200 depending on age group.
Can I try out for multiple age groups?
Yes, but you must register and pay for each tryout separately. Most players try out for their birth year age group.
What if I can't attend the scheduled tryout?
Contact us at (214) 463-6279 to schedule a makeup tryout. Space is limited for makeup sessions.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes, we offer need-based scholarships. Contact Coach Benjamin to discuss scholarship opportunities.
When does the season start?
The AAU season runs from March through July, with practices starting in late February for selected players.
